Our Vision

 

We are a small congregation with a Family Atmosphere, offering many Beautiful Opportunities  for you to grow.

 

Our basic vision and desire is to be an Equipping and Sending Church.

 

We have had students and post-graduates From Over 100 Countries, as well as many other visitors, who stay in Göttingen for just a few years or even a few months.

 

Many have been sent by their governments to Göttingen University to give them optimal education in the hope they will build A Better Future For Their Countries after returning.

 

We long to strengthen each one of you to excel in your studies and grow into a Strong and Spiritual Personality - living the grace and the truth of our Master Jesus Christ to the benefit of those you will serve now and once returned home.

 

We wish and strive to become friends - not only pew neighbours, but True Brothers and Sisters in Christ, who get to know and deeply care for each other.

 

This is also why Personal Prayer  for one another is part of our every Sunday Service.

 

Our Bible studies and sermons aim to both Strengthen and Challenge Your Faith to Grow into depths you might not have known yet.

 

We long to know and love our Lord and Saviour Jesus better by discussing His Word with life-centered in-depth-studies. Some of us contribute their insights from the Original Biblical Texts in Hebrew and Greek, Archaeology and Earliest Church History.

 

Our aim is to understand better even some of the difficult, offensive, or paradox sounding passages in Scripture which we often rather prefer to avoid. Instead, we can grow a Well-Grounded and enhanced Trust in our wonderful God, able to live it out in our every-day-life among our often atheistic friends and collegues.

 

Everyone is offered the Opportunity To Serve in our church in any way God leads you. This way, many have dared to lead their first ever Bibe study or even a sermon !

 

Some even come bringing admirable Musical Talents, while others play less professionally, but wish to learn more. There is room for both of you in our beautifully equipped worship band where we offer you to “train on the job“.

 

No one has to, but we support and stand beside you any time you wish to start a New Spiritual Venture. This is one of the most encouraging things we see happening all the time. But don´t get scared, this is no must for anyone.

 

Join us to be either an active, or a still & quiet visitor - just as you need it at this time in your life  ...  You are very welcome !
